Apple Barrel Orchards & Cidery

THE FARM
Apple Barrel Orchards is an 85-acre fruit farm located less than two miles outside of the village of Penn Yan, NY. Owned and operated by Michael and Allison Hiller, we are a fourth-generation farm currently growing 25 varieties of apples, 3 varieties of grapes and 3 varieties of sweet cherries. Some of our oldest vineyards and orchards were first planted in the 1940's, with each generation of our family changing and adding to the farm.

CIDERY
Coming in the fall of 2023 will be Apple Barrel Orchards Cidery! We are excited to be putting the finishing touches on our pole barn that has been converted into a production facility and renovating our 1896 barn into a tasting room.  We are producing cider from apples that are grown, harvested and fermented here on the farm!  We encourage you to visit our farm, taste our ciders and enjoy the beautiful views of Keuka Lake and the surrounding area!

U-PICK
Our u-pick sweet cherry orchard opens late June to early July. Varieties include Benton, Attika and Hedelfingen

A visit to the farm in the September and October allows guests to walk our orchards and u-pick 10 varieties of apples, as well as concord grapes. We also have a farm store that is open during the fall and stocked with local cheeses, honey, maple syrup and much more!
